Here are some pics of my home made tool, based largely on the patco tool.

2" square tube notched to match bump in harmonic balancer.

18" long lever arm made from 2" angle.

long bolts and a bolting plate.

The benefit of the bolts versus welding is that you can reverse the tool for tightening (shown this way in pics).
